Police ID Woman Fatally Shot Outside Maryland Housing Complex, Second Victim Still Critical

An Upper Marlboro woman has been identified as the victim in a fatal shooting earlier this week, authorities say.

As previously reported by Daily VoiceMiranda Queen, 37, was shot multiple times in the 12500 block of Woodstock Drive E around 10:15 p.m., Monday, Aug. 8, according to Prince George's police. 

An unidentified man was also shot in the incident and is suffering from serious injuries in an area hospital.

Both were rushed to a hospital, police said, where Queen was pronounced dead a short time later.

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

Detectives are working to identify a suspect and a motive.
